WHO WE ARE
Sandra Vartanian is an award-winning product designer and the founder of Lelo Designs, A female-owned Los Angeles–based design studio specializing in patentable product innovation for the baby, pet, and consumer product industries.
With over 30 years of experience designing for major global brands, Sandra’s work blends heartfelt creativity with commercial—strategy developing products that are as emotionally engaging as they are successful on shelves.
Inspired daily by her three daughters—two human and one very fluffy—Sandra’s life at home often sparks her best ideas. She leads a team of top designers from ArtCenter College of Design and FIDM, collaborating to bring thoughtful ideas to life through sketching, trend forecasting, storyboarding, and prototype development.
Beyond design, Sandra has cultivated trusted partnerships with factories in China, Cambodia, and Vietnam—many of whom she considers personal friends. These long – standing relationships help clients navigate the complex global supply chain, ensuring high-quality samples, smooth communication, and on-time pre-production delivery.
